    Discovering the Roots of African Spirituality II

    Connecting Ancestors: The future springs from the past

    Morning Session
    Dr Jawanza Clark, Associate Professor of Global Christianity at Manhattan College in the Bronx, NY, with reference to his single-authored book Indigenous Black Theology (2012), and his new edited book, Albert Cleage Jr. and the Black Madonna and Child (2016), will be presenting on the African ancestral heritage in a new Black Theology for black churches. [Copies of both books will be available for purchase and signing]

    Afternoon Session
    Dr Emmanuel Y. Lartey, will present on the significance of rites and rituals of cosmic connection in African spiritual practice and how this ancestral heritage may be efficaciously re-incorporated and revived in contemporary African conscious spirituality for the benefit of the current and upcoming generations.

    Discovering the Roots of African Spirituality: Journeying to Egyptian Nubia

    Do you wonder about the origins of your spiritual thirst? Do you ever think about where humanity’s quest for our place within the cosmos might have begun? Then join us on a journey to Egyptian Nubia and on a Nile River cruise to discover the roots of African Spirituality.

    This pilgrimage is made up of TWO components:-

    This 2-day seminar aims at preparing, equipping and positioning you for an experience of a lifetime. It will open your mind and expand your horizons. You will have the opportunity to listen to and learn from the research of experts and adepts who have engaged in dedicated study and research into Ancient African history, religion and spirituality and the re-tracing of humanity’s origins.
